Commission Policy
Custom Commission Policy
Only a limited number of reverse glass painting commissions are accepted at a time, including pet portraits. During high-volume periods, inquiries may be placed on a waitlist in the order received. Size options vary. The number of subjects included in a single piece is determined at the artist’s discretion based on composition, scale, and complexity.
Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance. The artist reserves the right to decline any commission request at their sole discretion.
Payment
A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your commission slot. Work will not begin until payment has been received in full. All commissioned artwork is custom-made.
Because each piece is custom-made, payment secures your booking and covers design preparation, materials, and time allocated for your project.
Cancellations & Refunds
If a cancellation is requested before work has begun, a refund may be issued minus any administrative or processing fees, as determined by the artist.
If a cancellation is requested after work has begun, approval is not guaranteed. Any refund issued will be determined at the artist’s sole discretion, based on the time invested, materials used, and stage of completion at the time of cancellation.
Refund amounts, if any, will be determined solely at the artist’s discretion. Administrative time, design preparation, and material costs are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued once the artwork is substantially complete.
Reference Images
Clients must provide clear, high-resolution reference photos. The artist is not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or quality issues resulting from low-resolution, poorly lit, blurry or otherwise unclear reference images provided by the client.
The artist will work based on the details visible in the provided reference images and is not responsible for recreating details that are not clearly shown. Any requested adjustments not visible in the reference images must be clearly communicated and are subject to the artist’s interpretation and approval.
The artist reserves the right to decline a commission if suitable reference images are not provided.
Creative Discretion
Each piece is hand-painted and original. While the artist follows agreed-upon references and details, artistic interpretation is inherent to the process. Color interpretation may vary due to lighting, screen differences, and artistic interpretation.
Minor variations are inherent in handmade artwork and do not constitute defects. Major design changes requested after work has begun may incur additional fees and may affect turnaround time.
Turnaround Time
Completion time varies depending on size, level of detail, and current workload. An estimated timeline will be provided prior to booking; however, timelines are not guaranteed. A minimum of 3 weeks is expected for a piece to be completed as stated on commission inquiry form.
Delays caused by client response time, requested changes, or unforeseen circumstances may extend completion time.
Portfolio & Social Media Use
The artist reserves the right to photograph, record and share commissioned artwork for portfolio, marketing, website gallery, and social media purposes.
This may include progress photos, process videos, and images or video of the completed piece.
If a commission is intended to be private (including memorial pieces, gifts, or sensitive subjects), the client must request confidentiality prior to the start of the project. Privacy requests must be mutually agreed upon in writing before work begins.
Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon in advance, the artist retains the right to display the work in their portfolio and on social platforms.
Shipping & Liability
All artwork is shipped via a mail carrier of the artist’s choice and includes tracking.
Once tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, the artist is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery.
If damage occurs during transit, clients must notify the artist within 7 days of confirmed delivery and provide clear photographic documentation of the packaging and the artwork. Claims will be handled by the shipping carrier
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided is accurate at the time of purchase. The artist is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses supplied by the client.
Intellectual Property
All artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist. Purchase of physical artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Artwork may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, altered, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the artist.
The artist reserves the right to reproduce and display the artwork for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes.
